Richard Sherman Injury: Seahawks cornerback out for season with ruptured Achilles
Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman suffered a season-ending Achilles injury during Seattle’s Thursday night game against the Cardinals.Sherman was seen muttering “tore my Achilles” as he walked off the field following the injury. Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll confirmed the injury during his post-game press conference. This injury is obviously a big blow to Seattle’s defense. Sherman is one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL. With Sherman out for the year, this means he won’t be playing when the Philadelphia Eagles face Seattle in Week 13 Travis Long Jersey. That’s too bad because facing the Seahawks’ defense at full strength would’ve been a good test for Carson Wentz and the Eagles’ offense. It’s also too bad for Sherman.
